I got the idea from a DIY magazine. I just used some scrap material that I had laying around and mod podged it to canvas. The pattern is freehand.
The hanger is drawn on with graphite. The fabric is mod podged underneath and on top. I chose not to glue the top of the ribbon on this one. There are so many options with embellishing these as well. Anything from buttons to feathers to sequins...just about anything that can be glued to canvas! ha! I chose to keep it simple....this time. :0)
These were so easy and fun to make for cute decor in Libby's room!
Let me know if any of you are interested in seeing a tutorial.
Happy Crafting!

Those are SO cute! I wish I were crafty but alas I am strictly a left brain person. I am excited to see the pics of your shop. Alice was telling me all about it when she came to visit.
ReplyDeleteThank you! The shop will be finished in the next week or so...other than the flooring. I'll post soon.
ReplyDeleteI found your post through one of my blog followers. I live in Kentucky now, but was born, raised, and married in Tulsa, OK. I'm becoming your follower because I love crafty people, love seeing new recipes, and am so excited to see someone in the blogging world from my home. All my family is there and miss them. Looking forward to more posts and it's nice meeting you! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristin! Nice to meet you! Stop by anytime.
